The South Central Region of the Mercer Metropolitan Benchmark Survey is a module of the US Mercer Benchmark Database imercer, one of the industry’s most respected compensation resources. For organizations to be competitive at the local level, whether operating in multiple locations or in a single location, they need current and accurate compensation information on a metropolitan area basis.  The survey covers Texas, plus Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Oklahoma and includes data cuts for most major metropolitan areas in these states.

For Texas, data was reported for the following metropolitan areas:

Amarillo, Austin, Beaumont, Brazoria, Brownsville, Bryan, Corpus Christi, Dallas, El Paso, Fort Worth, Galveston, Houston, Killeen, Laredo, Longview, Lubbock, McAllen, Odessa, San Antonio, Sherman, Tyler, and Waco.

The Metropolitan South Central Region Survey reports local area, regional, and national pay information for nonexempt and lower level exempt positions. It includes 375 positions spanning a broad cross-section of functional areas.
