As you think about your employee benefits, most notably medical, we figure this time of year of as a cool pause. Open enrollment is a “distant memory” and your upcoming renewal may seem very far away. The reality is that if you provide medical benefits to your employees, you are in the healthcare business regardless of your actual business. To maximize cost control, employee engagement, and total reward impact, you should always be evaluating next steps to serve your employees and your company. HC&B wanted to offer insights on different approaches to healthcare and has solicited the support of a few advisors from other parts of the country. We did not want this to be a sales pitch, so we are having a panelist discussion led by our own Programs Director, Matthew Griffin. There are alternatives traditional health insurance and it is a reality for many employers. Each of our panelists have success in working with employers to do just that.
